Hello, stranger!

Wow! It’s been a hot minute since I have posted anything on here. Truth be told, this pregnancy has been challenging, especially when paired with raising a 3 year old. Not to mention, I wanted to soak up every. single. second of summer break while I had it, and we definitely made the most of it!

Here is a quick recap of the last 4 months of our lives:

This summer I hosted a weekly art class for kids. Our sweet little Texas town doesn’t have much to offer for kids during the crazy summer heat and God laid on my heart to try this out. I would consider it a success and can’t wait to do it again next summer! We took 45 minutes each week and created some incredible things! It is so amazing to see how creative little ones can be!

We also slept late, went on lots of long walks, visited with family and friends, and watched Moana more times than I can count! My favorite part of summer was our trip to Montana. If you know me, you know that the mountains are my happy place. I’m a different person when I am in the mountains and it was extremely special to take Harper for the first time. She loved it just as much as Brady and I did and we can’t wait to make more memories on similar trips in the future, as a family of 4! We stayed in Bozeman with some dear friends of ours and it really couldn’t have been any better. We enjoyed all that Bozeman has to offer- a great downtown with shopping, lots of hiking and exploring, the Sweet Pea festival and parade, and a trip over to gorgeous Big Sky to ride the ski lift!

Aside from all of that, I’ve been growing and working on the house! I will be sharing updates on the nursery and my fall decor soon and will also be doing a post about some great shopping that has been happening. Ironically enough, before I share that, I will be posting my next challenge- a month of less spending and more decluttering, so stay tuned for that!

What have y’all been up to this past few months and what are you looking forward to me posting about?

be the good.
